As part of this day-long event at the University of St. Thomas, I’ll lead a session called 1 + 2 + 3 = Story. Learn a creative writing exercise I’ve shared with kids for over a decade through school and library visits. Discover a fun new way to tap into your brain’s natural ability to connect seemingly unconnected ideas and images—and build unique stories.

At this storytime, I’ll read my two picture books: Behold! A Baby and The Wee Hours. We’ll also do a felt board activity and finger plays. Ideal for ages 0 – 6, but all are welcome! This event is free and open to the public.
