Favorite-Book Haiku

Sometimes, people ask me what my favorite books are. I have so many, and I could talk your ear off all day about why I love them. But then you wouldn't have time to go to the library to read these wonderful books. So to save you time, I wrote haiku tributes instead.

Sticky orange marmalade fur.

Mary Poppins Opens the Door
This is no Disney
Mary P is salty mean
Watch out Jane and Mike

Pippi Longstocking
Girl who lives alone
With a monkey named Nilssen
Redhead tornado

Alice in Wonderland
Down the rabbit hole
Grow shrink eat drink—all is mad
Life is but a dream.
